Defensible space is
removal with a deadline.
Ladder fuels, crowded crowns, and standing dead timber are the difference between a close call and a loss. We thin, limb, and clear the first hundred feet around homes and cabins across Bonner and Kootenai counties, and we document the work for your insurance company.

What neighbors say
Word travels
over fence lines.
"Living in a very rural area, it can be tough to find a company that actually shows up, communicates well, and does great work. These guys checked every box. They were friendly, professional, easy to work with, and kept us informed every step of the way."
"Timber Valley 4 man crew took down 10 trees for us today and did a terrific job. Thoughtful planning and care and great cleanup. These guys are masters of their craft."
"Three of our neighbors hired them at the same time to remove trees from their properties as well. Their bid was very competitive and they were able to coordinate all 4 jobs together to minimize the disruption in our neighborhood."

How much does tree removal cost in North Idaho?
Most small removals run $300 to $900, mid-size trees $900 to $2,000, and large or technical removals $2,000 to $4,000 and up. Access, lean, and what's underneath the tree move the number. The on-site estimate is free and it's exact.
Do you really come out as far as Deer Park or Priest Lake?
Yes. The shop is in Blanchard, which puts Priest Lake, Newport, Deer Park, Sandpoint, and Coeur d'Alene all inside our normal working arc of about 25 miles. We are on those roads every week.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold Idaho General Contractor Registration #2171374 and carry general liability and workers' compensation coverage. We can provide a certificate of insurance before work starts if you want one on file.
What happens to the wood and the mess?
Cleanup is part of the job, not an add-on. We chip the brush, haul the debris, and can grind the stump in the same visit. If you want the firewood, we buck it to length and leave it stacked.
